ISO 9001

The NAS Quality Management System is designed to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, an internationally recognized standard for creating, implementing, and maintaining a Quality Management System for a company. This standards primary focus is to meet customer requirements and strive to exceed customer expectations. All NAS facilities are ISO 9001:2015 certified.

AS9100

The Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 is designed to achieve high quality in the aviation, space, and defense industries. This standard goes above and beyond by building upon the ISO 9001 standard. The Ghent manufacturing facility is AS9100:2016 certified.

ISO 17025

ISO 17025 is an internationally recognized quality assurance accreditation for calibration and testing laboratories. This standard enables laboratories to demonstrate that they operate competently, impartially, and consistently to generate valid results, thereby promoting confidence in their work both nationally and around the world. Both testing laboratories at the Ghent manufacturing facility, the Chemistry laboratory and the Mechanical laboratory, are ISO 17025:2017 certified.

NTPEP

NTPEP stands for National Transportation Product Evaluation Program. NTPEP combines the professional and physical resources of the AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) departments in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico in order to evaluate materials, products, and devices of common interest for use in highway and bridge construction. NAS is NTPEP compliant under the Reinforcing Steel and Wire work plan.
